Project Preamble
China International College Students’ Innovation Competition has been successfully held for nine times since its launch in 2015.
It has attracted student participants from thousands of universities across five continents, making it the largest global innovation and entrepreneurship competition in terms of scale. In 2026, the China International College Students Innovation Competition will be held soon, and Guangzhou Maritime University sincerely invites outstanding young scholars or academics in innovation and entrepreneurship to actively participate.
Eligibility Criteria
The competition accepts team registrations, with each team consisting of no less than 2 members and no more than 15 members (including the team leader).
All team members must be current students with regular enrollment status in foreign universities or graduates within the past 5 years (i.e., graduates after 2019). The applicant for the competition must be the team leader, and the participating school represented by the team is determined based on the team leader’s foreign university enrollment or degree. Each team can only represent one institution. A foreign university refers to a general higher education institution or vocational college established abroad, with independent teaching qualifications and the ability to independently confer foreign degrees or diplomas. Having enrollment in a foreign university means being registered in a foreign university and having the qualification to obtain a foreign degree.
Entry Requirements
1. The competition seeks projects that address the acute needs of various sectors, showcasing advancements in fields like engineering, medicine, agriculture, and the humanities. Projects should introduce innovative products, services, and business models, contributing to the evolution of sectors like manufacturing, agriculture, healthcare, and energy, and promoting the integration of digital technology with fields such as education, healthcare, and finance.. The participating projects should promote positive energy, practice the core socialist values, and be true, healthy，and legal. It must not contain any content that violates the Constitution of the People’s Republic of China and other laws and regulations.
Projects must possess clear intellectual property rights for any inventions, patents, or technologies involved. Violations such as plagiarism or the submission of fraudulent information will lead to disqualification and legal accountability.
3. Participants must be no more than 35 years old (born on March 1, 1991or later).
Competition tracks and Registration methods
International entries will compete in the higher education track, with divisions for undergraduate and graduate projects based on developmental stages.
